Before a patient calls your clinic, they have usually looked you up on their phone. What they find there decides whether they call at all. A short video is the fastest way to let them meet you before the first appointment.
Start with the patient’s question
People decide within the first few seconds whether a video is for them. Open with the question they already have: “Does it hurt?”, “How long is the recovery?”, “What does it cost?”. Your clinic’s name and logo can wait until the end.
One video, one answer
Sixty seconds is enough for one clear answer. If you try to explain a whole treatment, the video becomes a lecture. Split the topic instead:
- What the treatment is, in one sentence.
- Who it is suitable for.
- What happens on the day.
- What to expect afterwards.
Each of these is its own video. Together they become a series patients can follow.
Let the doctor speak
Patients are choosing a person, not a building. A doctor explaining a treatment calmly, in their own words, does more for trust than polished footage of an empty waiting room.
A patient who has watched you explain their treatment arrives at the first appointment already trusting you.
Subtitles are not optional
Many people scroll with the sound off. Subtitles keep them watching, and a second language opens your clinic to patients who are more comfortable in it.
Plan the month, film it in a day
Weekly filming disrupts a clinic. With a content plan, a shot list and a schedule built around your consulting hours, one shoot day is enough for a full month of videos.
